An attempt was made to move from Breadboard to a Printed Circuit Board (PCB). A PCB would add much needed rigour to the overall design. However, the first attempt was a bit of a disaster requiring more modifications than should have been necessary. So, the PCB needs redesigning then manufacturing and finally populating with components.

During the previous attempt this prototype Breadboard version was plundered for components. It also had been well used. Inevitably, it took some time to return it to a working state and even now not all sensors are attached.

Additionally, the software was refactored. It is much clearer to understand yet it’s a lot simpler. It too now requires a thorough update.

It’s a relatively simple project with lofty ambitions!

Wish us luck as the design is honed then, perhaps, one day tested in the field.
